Sorry for no posts this past weekend, but I was out of town to see a Geoff Tate concert at the Three Rivers Winery in Walla Walla. Geoff (the lead singer of Queensryche) along with the winery was holding a barrel tasting event of his signature wine called 'Insania' prior to being bottled this next spring.



The event was very small, but well attended by many Geoff Tate (Queensryche) fans, and lovers of wine. A nice dinner was catered in by the winery staff, and the evening was complete with a very nice concert with Geoff and his band. Events are normally held out on the lawn behind the winery, but due to mother nature (yup it rains around here), the concert was held in one of the barrel rooms, which wasn't the best acoustically, but it was very enjoyable none the less.

Overall, it was a nice relaxing weekend even with the 4+ hour drive there and back. We did return with several bottles of wine (the Riesling is wonderful) and met some new friends. Hope to see Geoff back next year to do it again.
