One of the more common components to fail on gas dryers, this two coil kit can get your dryer up and heating again and they are easy to install. The gas valve in many dryers made by Whirlpool, Maytag, and Frigidaire use these two coils to control the gas flow to the burner. As the coils age, they have difficulty holding the valves open and as a result, the burner will not reignite during a drying cycle. A common symptom is heat at the beginning of the cycle, but by the end, only cold air is blowing through. If you can see the burner igniter glowing, but the gas never turns on, these coils are the likely cause of the problem.
